Sometimes crap happens. We can be merrily going on with our lives, and then bam! Something occurs that can throw us off course and mess up our day.
However, what if you could stop for a moment and realize you have a choice. You can have a meltdown and get dramatic about it, or you can stop and ask a question that launches you into creation.
Neither is wrong. It is just a choice.
And you can choose one for a little while and then choose something else. To not be thrown off by events, you have to actively choose every day to commit to your life and the creation of it, so that when the crap hits the fan, you're ready for that eventuality.
Let me give you an example from my own life.
The other day one of my messenger accounts was hacked, and the hacker started asking all my friends and contacts for money. I was upset and embarrassed about it. And at first, this threw me off track, and I admit my day got a little wonky. I realized quickly that wasn't working for me, so I then started asking questions.
I reminded myself that I am committing to my life, and nothing takes me off track.
This event made me wonder: 'This person is asking everybody I know for money, I wonder where I'm not willing to ask everybody I know for money in my life?' I indulged in this idea, which made me laugh, and then I was out of the funk and out of the drama.
Anything you can do to get yourself out of the seriousness of the situation and into laughter allows you to open up to possibilities that you may not have even considered and gets you back into creating your life.
